A study and analysis of the behavior of a fatigue-tested isostatic span has been carried out, controlled with real-time monitoring, by artificially causing in some of its elements the opening and propagation of cracks. Following this methodology, it has been possible to evaluate the robustness of a structure as its insensitivity to be affected or to propagate a local crack or failure.
